NT Labs Koi Care Chlor-Go removes harmful chlorine, chloramine and other heavy metals from tap water, making it safe for use in your garden pond.
Chlorine and other additives that make water safe for humans are very harmful for fish. They can damage the delicate gills and protective membrane of your pond fish, causing severe problems. Using a de-chlorinator removes this problem and creates the perfect environment for your fish.
It also removes copper, which can cause fish stress. So this makes Chlor-Go ideal to use at times of stress to, such as moving, temperature fluctuations and more. Use when transporting fish too, to make the transition as easy as possible.
Use Chlor-go whenever you are topping up or changing some or all of the water in the pond. Add 2.5 ml of Koi Care Chlor-go to every 20 gallons (90L) of tap-water
When to use?
When filling or topping up your pond with tap water. Tap water contains chemicals such as chlorine, chloramine and heavy metals which are harmful to fish. These require neutralising for the water to be safe for fish. Chlor-Go rapidly turns tap water into fish-safe pond water, and should be used for all water changes. Additionally, Chlor-Go can be used during transport of new or existing fish stocks.
How to use?
Use the dosage appropriate to the whole pond’s volume when regularly topping up an established pond.
Add the dosage to a small volume of water and mix thoroughly, and add half of this before filling and the other half during the top-up.
